Greenbridge and Walmart

It sure seems to me that there is a lot to be learned from understanding the differences between these two development projects. One has failed utterly and the other is likely to be a huge success. One lesson is that social engineering costs a lot more than most anyone realizes and is usually a bad idea. The other is that there is so much more around these projects that could and should be done by a careful melding of public and private interests without either of them imposing ridiculous requirements on the other.

Yes, two extremes that ought to matter a lot to people who live in Southern Village.
